Please carefull read all terms and conditions as they contain the legal terms and conditions that you agree to when you use our Site. Specific sections may have additional terms and conditions which will be highlighted where applicable.

Purpose of the Site

The purpose of the Site is to provide you with information about eventing, event riders and horses, GB and international teams, and other matters connected with eventing and eventing related products or services which we may offer.

Annual Subscription Memberships
If you wish to access certain areas of the Site, you will be required to register and to pay an annual subscription. You may need to provide a username (when you omit this, we will do that for you) and we will provide you with a password. Annual memberships will commence from the date your membership details are emailed to you. You must ensure that you keep your username and password secret and that you do not disclose them to anyone, as you will be responsible for all activities which occur under your username and password. It is your responsibility to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your username or password, or any other breach of security as soon as you become aware of it. You may notify us by e-mail to memberships@eventriders.com. Your personal information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Code of conduct
You agree that you are responsible for everything that you transmit to the Site and you agree not to:
(i) use the bulletin boards or discussion forums for any commercial purpose;
(ii) post content or participate in any form of discussion which is unlawful, harassing, libellous, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or which otherwise includes objectionable material;
(iii) post content which you do not have the right to use or transmit to the Site any material containing software viruses or files designed to damage or disrupt the good working order of any computer or telecommunications equipment; or
(iv) impersonate any other person or entity whilst using the Site.

We will be entitled at our discretion to remove anything which is transmitted to, from or via the Site or posted on the Site which, in our opinion, is objectionable or does not comply with these terms and conditions in any way. We will not be liable for doing this. We may bar your access to this Site if you breach these provisions.

Availability of the Site
We have taken every care in the preparation of the Site. However, as certain technical matters may be beyond our control, we cannot guarantee that you will have uninterrupted access to the Site at all times.

The information on the Site has been included in good faith for general informational purposes only. Contributions to www.eventriders.com
Where you are invited to submit any contribution to www.eventriders.com (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant www.eventriders.com a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in www.eventriders.com's Privacy Policy. If you do not want to grant to us the rights set out above, please do not submit your contribution to us.

Further to the above, by submitting your contribution www.eventriders.com, you:

warrant that your contribution;
(i) is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to www.eventriders.com for all the purposes specified above;
(ii) is not defamatory; and
(iii) does not infringe any law.
indemnify www.eventriders.com against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by www.eventriders.com as a result of your breach of the above warranty;
and waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purposes of its submission to, and publication on, www.eventriders.com and the purposes specified above.

All brand, product and service names used in this Site are the trade marks, trade names or service marks of www.eventriders.com unless otherwise stated.
